Keep up the amazing work everyone! I'm so thrilled to hear you are doing a song about Roland as there isn't enough stuff about The Dark Tower in metal outside of Blind Guardian/Demons & Wizards.

For other lyrical inspirations, i'd look into either "Hyperion" by Dan Simmons, any Elric story by Michael Moorcock (even though the band Domine has made their career out of those stories) or the Prince of Nothing books as R. Scott Bakker's terrific Kellhus character is just begging for a metal song in my view.

Long days and pleasant nights!

Malfshnekor,is right the Malazan Book of the Fallen are very to take lirics from it would be cool to see a song about wiskyjacks death and the pain and anger caused to every one ,would make a amazing progresive song to fill with emotion and anger fellt by the charitures would be and epic highs lows quite to loud be amazing to see.

Keep up the amazing work i loved Dreamland Manor one of the best albums ever and the The Ordeal sound like the next album will be just as good if not the potential to be better KEEP IT UP i can't wate

It's strange how i have all these bands that i listen to like metallica, iron savior, saint deamon, and sonata arctica. However, whenever i think about like the greatest songs, every song from Dreamland Manor is perfect. Beyond reality was the calm/acoustic kinda song that needed to be on that album. Born again by the night is just a beautifully constructed song. When Hell Awakes is by far my favorite and was the first metal song that i liked which got me on this band. The Ordeal, now is a combination of awesomeness and greatness. Congratulations Savage Circus, my favorite band 5 years ago and still my favorite band now

@ Rafael:

I believe that the drumming you hear in the pre-production version of "The Ordeal" is drumming machine, and not Mike playing. At least that's what it sounds like to me!

And I agree with that you're saying, Mike is a very skilled drummer so hopefully it will be shown/allowed on the album :)

Hey guys..!!nice song this first one...but I hope to hear more tricky parts on drums....I mean...Mice is a very good drummer...he has the speed,he has the technique....why is he staying in a very fast or none tempo....?I'm sure he can fill in some songs more slower parts....anyways....we'll see.......as for lyrics...why don't you take themes from Tolkien?he has written a lot of themes you can write about....
